Froggy in the wall

During summer we see a lot of toads around out unit block, which is a shame because when we moved in we saw a lot of green tree frogs. They started to disapear as the toads appeared. I thought they had all gone but this last year they reappeared but in a differant way. rather than being seen aorund the garden we now saw them on our 2nd story balcony and in the stairwell. To avoid the toads they had moved to higher ground. During the day they tunneled holes in the concrete between the bricks and would stay there to remain cool and hidden. in the evening they would pop themselves out of the walls and start hunting.

I saw this one wriggling out of the wall. I was amazed he didnt freak out as I got close to take the picture.
